How to add text and images to your PDF

Need to complete a form, correct a detail or add a note? You can add text directly to a PDF in your browser, then save a new copy without printing anything.

Quick answer
Open your PDF in YourBrand, select Add text, click where the text belongs and type. You can change the text size, ink colour and background, then download the updated PDF.

How to type on a PDF

  1. Choose the PDF you want to complete.
  2. Select Add text in the toolbar.
  3. Click the page where you want the text to begin and type normally.
  4. Use the text options to adjust its size or colour, if needed.
  5. Click outside the text box to save it on the page, then download your PDF.

Can I fill in a PDF form online?

Yes. Add text boxes over the relevant fields, such as your name, address, date or answers. YourBrand also lets you add a signature, lines, checkmarks and other simple form marks.

Can I add text to a scanned PDF?

Yes, as long as the scan is readable. Text is added as a new layer over the image, so it can be placed on blank fields or beside existing wording. It does not turn a scanned document into editable original text.
